6-Day Uganda Adventure Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Kampala
Touch down at Entebbe International Airport, and someone’s there to greet you—you’re not on your own. They’ll drive you straight to your hotel in Kampala. The rest of the day? Do what you like. Crash and catch up on sleep, or get out and wander. Check out the craft markets, sample some local food, or join a city tour if you’re up for it. Dinner and overnight back at your hotel.
Day 2: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Grab breakfast, then hit the road for Murchison Falls National Park. This place is huge—Uganda’s biggest. The drive takes you through open countryside and small villages, plenty to see along the way. You’ll get to your lodge or camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, jump into a game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes—pretty much the whole safari checklist. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.
Day 3: Murchison Falls – Boat Cruise & Game Drive
Wake up early for another game drive—animals are most active before the sun gets too warm. After breakfast, it’s time for a boat cruise on the Nile. You’ll ride right up to the base of Murchison Falls, and the views are wild. Expect to see hippos, crocodiles, and a bunch of birds you probably can’t name. Lunch back at the lodge, then you can either relax or head out for another game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Murchison Falls – Kibale National Park
After breakfast, set out for Kibale National Park. This park is famous for chimpanzees—and honestly, the forest is just beautiful. You’ll stop for lunch along the way and reach Kibale by afternoon. Once you’re settled, you can take a short nature walk or just kick back at the lodge. Dinner and overnight near the park.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetlands Walk
Fuel up with an early breakfast, then get ready for a real highlight—chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. Park rangers will guide you through the forest, and tracking wild chimps is an experience you won’t forget. Afterward, stretch your legs with a walk through Bigodi Wetlands, spotting birds and exploring the swamp forest. Lunch is back at the lodge. In the afternoon, head out for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drives & Departure
Start the day with a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Look for tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes—you name it. If you want, there’s also a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll spot hippos, crocodiles, and more birds. After lunch, it’s time to head back to Entebbe. You’ll get dropped off at the airport, wrapping up your 6-day Uganda adventure.
