Patjud Adventures Safaris – Cancellation Policy

At Patjud Adventures Safaris, we want your trip to be unforgettable. Still, things come up, and sometimes plans have to change. Here’s our policy on cancellations, changes, and refunds for bookings with us.
- If You Cancel
Let us know right away if you need to cancel. Here’s how refunds work depending on how much notice you give:
- More than 30 days before your trip: You’ll get a full refund, except for a non-refundable deposit of [insert amount or percentage].
- 15 to 30 days before departure: We’ll refund 50% of your total booking cost.
- 7 to 14 days before departure: You get 25% back.
- Less than 7 days before: Sorry, no refund.
We don’t return non-refundable deposits, no matter what.
You need to cancel in writing—email works, or any other agreed method. We can’t process cancellations over the phone unless you follow up in writing.
- If We Cancel
Sometimes things are out of our hands—bad weather, political unrest, or other surprises. If we ever have to cancel or reschedule your trip, here’s what you can expect:
- Full refund: We’ll send all your money back, including your deposit, within [insert number] days.
- New date: We can move your trip to another available date at no extra charge.
- Different trip: If your original tour isn’t available, we’ll offer a similar one. If it costs more, you pay the difference; if it costs less, we refund you the extra.
If we cancel, we’ll let you know as soon as we can. We can’t cover extra costs you might have—like flights or hotels you booked separately.
- No Show
If you don’t show up and didn’t let us know in advance, we can’t refund anything. You lose the whole booking amount.
- Changes to Your Booking
Need to tweak your dates or change the number of people? We’ll try to help, but it depends on availability and sometimes there’s a fee:
- More than 30 days before departure: Changes are free, if we have space.
- 15 to 30 days before: There’s a change fee of [insert amount or percentage] of the total cost.
- Less than 15 days: No changes allowed—our cancellation policy kicks in.
- Special Situations
Medical emergencies happen. If you need to cancel or change because of a medical issue, let us know. We might let you reschedule or give a partial refund, depending on the situation. You’ll need a doctor’s note.
We strongly suggest getting travel insurance. It helps cover cancellations, delays, or anything unexpected that stops you from traveling.
- Force Majeure
If something major happens—like a natural disaster, government restrictions, or war—and we have to cancel or change your trip, we’re not responsible for any extra costs or losses. We’ll do our best to reschedule or refund your booking when possible.
- Getting Your Refund
If you’re due a refund, we’ll send it back to the card or account you used to book. It usually takes [insert number of days] to process, depending on your payment provider.
