6-Day Nairobi to Arusha, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Arusha
Wake up early and hit the road, heading south from Nairobi. The drive takes you past rolling hills and little villages all the way to Arusha. You’ll arrive in the afternoon, just in time for lunch at a local lodge. The rest of the day is yours—maybe relax, settle in, and get ready for the adventure ahead. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara – Serengeti
After breakfast, set off for Lake Manyara National Park. The morning is all about spotting wildlife—watch for those famous tree-climbing lions, flamingos by the lake shore, plus elephants, buffalo, and giraffes. Once you’ve soaked that in, continue on to the Serengeti. Lunch is waiting for you at the lodge or camp. Later, get your first real taste of the Serengeti with an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti Game Drives
Today’s all about the Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives take you across those endless plains, searching for the Great Migration and stalking predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Picnic lunch in the bush, plenty of time for photos, and sweeping savannah views. When dusk settles in, head back for dinner and a good night’s rest at the camp or lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, pack up and drive out toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The scenery changes—highlands, rural life, and wide open views as you go. Lunch is served at a lodge near the crater. In the afternoon, check out a viewpoint over the crater or explore the nearby area. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
Start early with breakfast, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. It’s packed with wildlife—lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, buffalo, and a wild mix of birds. Picnic lunch inside the crater lets you soak in the unique ecosystem. After a full day, head back up to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Nairobi
Breakfast, then time to check out and start the journey back to Arusha, then onward to Nairobi. Watch the highlands roll by as you drive. You’ll reach Nairobi in the afternoon, where you’ll get dropped off at your hotel or the airport. That’s the end of your safari.
