A boat cruise up the Nile to the base of the falls is the highlight — the banks are packed with hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants coming to drink, and hundreds of bird species. Game drives in the northern sector reveal lion, buffalo, giraffe, Uganda kob, and the rare shoebill stork.
